Katana Fiberglass Packraft Paddle — Four-Piece
Pack it for adventure. Keep it ready as a backup.
The Spade Katana Fiberglass Packraft Paddle combines the fiberglass blade construction of our regular whitewater range with a four-piece design. It is a versatile option for packrafting or carrying a backup paddle on whitewater kayaking trips.
Choose from three blade sizes and blue, green or red blades, then adjust the length and feather angle to suit your setup.
Four pieces for easier packing
The paddle separates into four pieces for transport or storage in your boat. Spring buttons lock the blades in place, while an adjustable center ferrule connects the two shaft sections. The components are CNC-cut and drilled for precise assembly.
Adjust your length and feather angle
The center ferrule provides 10 cm of length adjustment and lets you freely set the feather angle.
Select your preferred minimum length when ordering. For example, a 200 cm paddle adjusts from 200 to 210 cm. Set the feather angle directly using the center ferrule to suit your paddling.
Choose your blade size
The Katana is the only Spade whitewater paddle available in three blade sizes.
Large is our standard blade size, matching the blade area of our other whitewater paddles. Medium and Small are reduced versions of the Katana blade for paddlers who prefer less resistance and a lighter pull through the water.
Size | Blade area | How it compares |
Large — Standard | 730 cm² | Our standard whitewater blade size |
Medium — Reduced | 695 cm² | A smaller version with less resistance per stroke |
Small — Reduced | 660 cm² | The smallest version, with the lightest pull through the water |
