Nirvana Whitewater Paddle — Bent Shaft
A buoyant blade feel. Your choice of ergonomic shaft.
The Spade Nirvana combines foam core blades and a protective cord edge with a smooth, powerful stroke. Choose between two ergonomic shaft designs to match your preferred hand position and paddling style.
Foam core blades with a protected edge
The PVC foam core gives the blade a buoyant feel in the water. A protective Dynel cord edge helps resist wear and impacts, while the blade shape delivers smooth, powerful strokes.
The Nirvana has a blade area of 730 cm² — our standard whitewater blade size. It is offered in one blade size.
Choose your shaft design
Ergo Neutral Bent Shaft
This classic bent shaft aligns your hand position with the center line of the blade. It is designed for greater wrist comfort and is an option for straight-shaft paddlers who experience wrist fatigue. It is suitable for both whitewater and freestyle paddling.
Ergo Power Torque Shaft
This shaft positions your hands behind the blade, allowing you to pull through the water behind the power face. The design encourages a stable, self-correcting stroke and an earlier catch for a longer overall stroke. It is recommended for whitewater paddling with the Nirvana.
For freestyle paddling, choose Ergo Neutral. Ergo Power Torque is not recommended for freestyle kayaking.
Configure your paddle
Select your shaft model, paddle length and feather angle. Standard right-hand feather options are 15°, 30° and 45°, with a customized option also available. Choose an available colored carbon design to finish your setup.
