Nirvana Carbon Whitewater Paddle — Straight Shaft
A buoyant blade feel. Smooth, powerful strokes.
The Spade Nirvana is a whitewater kayak paddle with carbon foam core blades and a protective cord edge. Its balanced blade shape delivers a smooth, powerful stroke, with the buoyant feel of a foam core design.
Choose a flexible fiberglass shaft or a stiffer carbon shaft, then select your length and optional split system to suit your paddling.
Foam core blades with a protected edge
The PVC foam core gives the blade a buoyant feel in the water. A protective Dynel cord edge helps resist wear and impacts, while the blade shape delivers smooth, powerful strokes.
The Nirvana has a blade area of 730 cm² — our standard whitewater blade size. It is offered in one blade size.
Choose your shaft
Fiberglass shaft: more flex for a softer, more forgiving stroke and a more comfortable ride.
Carbon shaft: a stiffer feel for a more direct response and precise paddle control.
Optional adjustable split system
Choose a one-piece paddle or add a nylon or stainless steel split system. The split system lets you separate your paddle into two pieces for transport, extend its length by up to 10 cm and freely adjust the feather angle.
Select your preferred minimum length when ordering a split paddle. For example, a 200 cm paddle adjusts from 200 to 210 cm. Set the feather angle directly using the split system.
